A campaign can be a number of different things:

• Email
• Direct Mail
• Advertisements
• Webinar series
• Conferences

These activities will take place outside of Salesforce.* For email campaigns, we will use HubSpot. We do not use Direct Mail, so that doesn't apply. Advertisements are done using Google, and our Webinar series are done using GoToWebinar. Conferences are not done with a specific vendor.

Although you can send mass email from within Salesforce, you are limited to the number of recipients per day - so it is not recommended that you use Salesforce to send email for your email campaign. Plus, responses will not be tied directly to the campaign.
