Create a custom field
Select Setip

Click Fields under the object you want to add the field to

In this example, we added a field to the Accounts object, but the same workflow applies for adding fields to any of the other objects.
Click New

Choose a field type

Enter information about the field

This is important. Don't leave these blank - you will be asked why you created these fields later on and you won't remember unless you wrote in a description.
Help Text is for end users and will help them know how to use the field.
Modify access permissions

Click Save (Save and New if you have another field to create)
