CRM helps us manage our relationships with our customers/potential customers
Salesforce is designed to help us manage the relationships that we currently have with customers and will help us manage relationships with potential customers.
A CRM tool helps us keeps track of conversations we have with customers/potential customers over the phone, via email, in help tickets, and in person. The goal is to have a history of every interaction we've had with customers/potential customers.
A CRM also helps us keep track of interactions customers/potential customers have had with our software and website. How often do they use our software? When do they go to our website? How often have they gone to our website? What fee assets have they downloaded? etc.
A CRM can help us keep track of how effective our sales and marketing efforts are. We can track money spent on outreach and revenues brought in from such initiatives.
A CRM can help us effectively provide our customers with what they need, when they need it. We can set up triggers and reminders to reach out to customers/potential customers and answer their questions or provide a service to them.
