Your Home tab is where you can see a view of various items that are important to you and perform actions (e.g. adding tasks) without having to navigate to different objects. You can customize your home tab to show items you want to see.

Here are some examples of things you can view/do:

• Recent items
• Custom links
• Chatter Feed
• Dashboard
• My Tasks
• Calendar

If you want to create a new account, contact, lead, etc. click on the drop-down arrow next to Create New...

If you have been working on an account, a lead, or an opportunity and you need to get back to it, Recent Items makes it easy to quickly find it.

This is great if you are regularly visiting a certain webpage all the time - just add it as a custom link so you can quickly get there.

Select a dashboard to show up on your Home tab so you can quickly see important information

Have tasks coming up? They'll show up on your Home tab and indicate whether the task is overdue.
